Selling Origami Owl Custom Jewelry can be an amazing, life changing decision. Whether you have tried your hand in direct sales or multi-level marketing in the past or are brand new to the concept, there are some things you need to know before joining one of the fastest growing direct sales companies in the world!
Joining Origami Owl as an Independent Designer & starting your own home based business is fun and exciting. Being well prepared and doing your homework beforehand can make it extremely rewarding and successful from the get go! When you are ready to sell Origami Owl Custom Jewelry — here are a few tips to help you get started successfully!
Currently the company offers two business launch kits – – the Basic Business Kit and the Deluxe Business kit – both of which include plenty of product, business supplies and tools. See my post here for more info on the kits. You’ll want to study the contents of each kit and decide which is the best option for you to start your business with. If you choose the smaller of the two kits, you can always add on product to your display at your discounted price later on.
If you haven’t already chosen a mentor to join with you will want to have someone in mind & know their Designer ID # before you enroll. If you decide to join without choosing a mentor first, the company will assign you to someone after you enroll. There is a grace period for choosing a mentor — you have 10 days from your enrollment to notify the company if you have found yourself a mentor. If you’ve already enrolled or are thinking about becoming a designer and need help finding a mentor to support you and your business you can contact me & I’d be happy to help you!
Once you enroll, your website is live immediately! That means you can start sharing your new business with everyone as soon as you click submit! Your business will be up & running before your kit arrives in the mail (which should be just a few short days later!).
My favorite part of the business launch kits is the Start Living Your Dreams guide. This guide is jam packed full of great info, lots of helpful tips on getting your business off to a great start, product info, basic company info & so much more! This is one item that I would keep with you at all times! Be sure to fill out the contact info inside with your mentor’s information so you have it in a safe place.
Getting started with your new business is simple with the New Designer Checklist provided by the company. Ask your mentor where to find this checklist & for any support you may need as you use it to guide you through some great business activities in your first month as a new designer.
