So I am headed back home to West Virginia after an amazing weekend in Nashville for the Origami Owl SOAR 2015 event. This was the third year for SOAR, my second time attending since I was 39 weeks due with my youngest daughter during the first event! The event is an amazing mixture of training, business announcements, product and program reveals, motivation, and togetherness for our team and the entire O2 family.
There were so many amazing announcements and reveals this weekend, which I’ll tell you all about over the next few weeks as we get more details, but I wanted to give you a quick glimpse of this amazing event! You can search the hashtag #soar2015 on most social media outlets to check out lots of fun and amazing photos from the event!
The weekend started out with a day long session for Directors and Senior Directors. Special sessions like this are just one of the many perks of leadership with Origami Owl. We got to hear from Chrissy, Bella, Tyson and Shawn – our founders and heard some amazing announcements. We event got to spend the afternoon listening to Belinda Ellsworth discuss the 5 Priorities of Successful Leaders. It was an amazing opportunity and I look forward to implementing many of her tips into my business!
Friday evening the leaders were treated to a private reception where we were able to watch Bella perform!
I even ran into Chrissy and Sandy Spielmaker that evening in the lobby and grabbed a quick photo!
Unfortunately I didn’t purchase any cowboy boots, but I did go check them out!
Then on Saturday was the actual SOAR 2015 event. This year the live event took place at Music City Center in Nashville, TN but was also simulcast to 13 cities – Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Tampa, Detroit, Charlotte, New York, Cincinnati, Philadelphia and Washington DC. The event was a huge success and it was great being able to have team members all over the country experience what I was experiencing in Nashville!
We started the morning off by all taking a selfie at the same time and posted them to social media under the #soar2015 hashtag. Bella even had a “selfie stick” which I had never heard of – but it was so much fun!

I’ll be updating this week with more information on the announcements of expansion of Origami Owl Canada, a new line of engrave-able plates and lockets called Inscriptions, an expansion to our hostess rewards program and details about the upcoming 2015 National Convention – the O2 Experience – which is planned for McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, IL.
I had a great time bonding with fellow leaders and team members, exploring downtown Nashville and taking in the sites! Can’t wait for SOAR 2016!
Keep checking my blog for the details!
